Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 September 2026

This explains what Futoji collects, why, and how you can get it deleted. Futoji is a small, independently run app — there's no ad network, analytics tracker, or data broker involved.

What we collect

  • Account info: your email address and a password — we never see or store the password ourselves; it's handled by our authentication provider, Supabase.
  • Profile info: the username and avatar you choose. Your username is visible to other users you're in a challenge with, or invite to one.
  • Study data: the topics, minutes, dates, and notes you log, plus any challenges you create or join.
  • Feedback: anything you submit through the “Send feedback” form.

How we use it

Only to run the app: authenticating you, showing your own study history and progress, running challenges you're part of (so fellow members can see your minutes and username), and reading feedback you send us. We don't sell your data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone beyond the infrastructure providers below.

Where it's stored

Your data is stored with Supabase (database and authentication) and served via Vercel (hosting). Both are third-party infrastructure providers bound by their own security practices — we don't run our own servers.

Access and deletion

You can edit your username, avatar, and email from Account settings at any time. There's no self-service “delete account” button yet — email getfutoji@gmail.com and we'll delete your account and associated data.

Children

Futoji isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we'll update the date above.
